Ashlee and Pete May Be Expecting a Daughter

Congratulations, Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson! It’s a girl!
Maybe.
Star magazine is reporting that the couple’s bundle of joy will be female. The magazine also quotes an insider as saying that Ashlee’s doctor “has given them an initial due date of October 31, on Halloween! For an emo-rocker like Pete, that would be too perfect!”
Of course, two weeks ago, word was that Pete and his pickle-gobbling bride would be having a baby boy. So maybe it’ll be a hermaphrodite.
If Ashlee does pop out a girl on Halloween, Pete should costume the kid and hide her from grandpa Joe Simpson.
If that opportunistic inlaw sees a chance to expand his empire with yet another female child, it’ll take the Jaws of Life to pry the baby from his clutches.
