Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson‘s inevitable domination of the airwaves is one step closer to fruition.

Entertainment Weekly reports that the 29-year-old Fall Out Boy bassist and his 24-year-old bride—who guested as a couple on The Dog Whisperer in December—will be making a cameo on the hit CBS crime drama CSI: NY.

And no, it won’t be a story in which the Crime Scene Investigation unit tries to find out who stole Wentz’s eyeliner. The two won’t be playing themselves on the Gary Sinise-starring show but, rather, a couple of “Bonnie and Clyde wannabes.”

Which seems to be a common theme in Hollywood these days.

Other celebs to have guested on the series include American Idol contestant Chris Daughtry, Rumer Willis and singer Nelly.

The episode is scheduled to air on March 18.

Maybe, while they’re focusing on Ashlee and Pete, Detective Mac Taylor and his crew can solve the mystery of why they named their son Bronx Mowgli.
