Ashley Greene Does Some Heavy Petting
Twilight star Ashley Greene has a scruffy but adorable new companion—and no, it’s not her co-star, Robert Pattinson.
The 22-year-old actress has just acquired a white Toy Fox Terrier, which she’s dubbed Marlow, and it’s a total case of puppy love.
“She was meant to be mine,” Greene told People magazine while cradling her furry new pal in her arms at the For Joseph launch party at Kitson in West Hollywood on Thursday.
“I wasn’t looking for a dog, and I happened to see her picture online, and I was like, ‘I have to have that dog.’”
And according to Greene, we’ll be seeing a lot more of the pooch in the future. “I’m already so that girl that brings her puppy to an event,” Greene fesses up. “I just got her today, and I was like, ‘I can’t leave her home alone all day!’”
As for the name of the pup, Greene says she had some unusual inspiration.
“I really liked the name Harlow, but that’s Nicole Richie‘s kid’s name, so I thought that might not be entirely appropriate, so I just changed the first letter,” Greene reveals.
No doubt, Nicole thanks her for that.

Wow. Someone loves canines. stallown3d, i suggest you leave your computer screen and go get yourself a tan sometime then consider running along to your nearest dog shelter and seeing all the unwanted dogs. At least Marlow will be cared for…
