Audrina Patridge Runs From 'The Hills'
Sources confirm to Celebuzz that Audrina Patridge has just signed a deal with producer Mark Burnett to star in her own reality show, which means the upcoming fifth season of The Hills will be her last.
Patridge's show will follow her personal and professional life, and the concept is currently being shopped around to networks.
"We are truly pleased to have the chance to work with Audrina," Burnett tells the Hollywood Reporter. "She has already proved her star quality, and we can't wait to show her fans worldwide the next stage of her life and career."
So with Patridge spreading her wings and flying solo, who's going to fight with Lauren Conrad now?
No one, apparently, as Conrad might be exiting as well. Despite what the cast thinks.
Patridge is said to be following Conrad off the show, and there is speculation that MTV will end the series after the 10-episode fifth season.
MTV reps aren't commenting on the possible end of their hit show, except to say, "We cannot confirm a sixth season at this time. However, The Hills will continue as long as there are stories to tell, and as of now we don't see an end in sight."
The fifth season of the Hills premieres on March 30.
