The Help star Jessica Chastain soared to the top of our best dressed list at the 2012 Oscars red carpet, but it reminded us of another best dressed winner that came a few years before at the Academy Awards.
They took the night’s highest honor as Best Actor and Best Actress, but these two couldn’t be more different! Meryl Streep is an award show veteran (with 17 Oscars noms), while Jean Dujardin is the new kid on the block. The winning duo attended Weinsten’s after-party at The Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood.

Angelina Jolie showed off her gams at Sunday’s Academy Awards in a sexy Versace gown, which was very similar to the black ensemble Jennifer Aniston rocked at 2010′s Golden Globes. While both ladies looked stunning, only one can reign supreme. (We have to admit, we’re giving Jen bonus points for her healthy glow!)

It’s hard for the gorgeous Kate Beckinsale to look bad in any outfit choice … or so we thought! The Underworld: Awakening beauty stepped out at Vanity Fair’s 2012 Oscar after-party in an unusual black and gold print cut-out dress.
The gown was an Atelier Versace design and accentuated her slim and stunning figure with the side cut-outs. She was holding two accessories the whole night, a black patent clutch and her director husband Len Wiseman!

Angelina Jolie‘s right leg was the talk of the 2012 Oscars when she put her best stem forward when presenting the award for Best Screenplay. Dressed in a SUPER sexy Atelier Versace black gown, the actress set out to show a lot of leg.
Angie’s right leg has become so popular in her Oscars gown that someone created a Twitter account for it! One tweet reads: “You have to admit I’m one hell of a leg.”
The slit-dress style has become a go-to look for the actress-turned-director, and Celebuzz has dug up some of Angelina’s most leg-baring looks. The thigh-high gowns isn’t just a trend with Brad Pitt‘s leading lady. A slew of other celebs have rocked this fashion statement on the red carpet.
Vanessa Hudgens was looking stunning as she arrived at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party on Sunday. The 23-year-old actress showed off her slim bod in a curve-hugging Georges Chakra Couture dress.
V-Hud accessorized with a Swarovski clutch and rocked her shorter ‘do.
