Snaps! Perky 20-year-old Bailey Hanks was crowned head blonde this week on MTV reality show contest Legally Blonde The Musical: The Search for Elle Woods.

"I saw both Legally Blonde movies as soon as they came out," the Anderson, South Carolina, native told USA Today. She played the original video "so often that our VCR ate it up. At that point, I had to buy the DVD."

Hanks officially takes to the stage Wednesday night at Broadway's Palace Theater, replacing Laura Bell Bundy in the musical verison of Legally Blonde.

The role was originally made famous in the 2001 movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal's lovely lady Reese Witherspoon.
