Thursday's night's closing of the Democratic National Convention at Denver, Colorado's Invesco Field drew roughly 84,000 attendees to hear Illinois Senator Barack Obama accept the party's Presidential nomination with a 45-minute speech.

And a smattering of those in attendance were famous faces.

Check out the gallery to see actress Rosario Dawson and Black Eyed Peas singer will.i.am (who penned the Obama-supporting anthem "Yes We Can"), Susan Sarandon, Fergie, taco enthusiast and Olympian Shawn Johnson, Al Gore, British model Lily Cole and Jessica Alba, amongst others.

Musical performers included Stevie Wonder, Doobie Brothers legend-turned-solo-star Michael McDonald and Sheryl Crow.

The Republican National Convention will be held next week in Minnesota's "Twin Cities" of Minneapolis-St. Paul.

They're bound to have celebs of their own.
