Jennifer Lopez met with Barack Obama‘s staff in Washington, D.C., this week to talk about “issues close to her heart,” according to People. Burning issues like mink eyelash availability in the U.S., zoning laws preventing her from building a mansion-size walk-in closet in midtown Manhattan and labor-law revisions to allow for extended hours for nannies so she never has to actually touch her twins.
“Tuesday afternoon, Ms. Lopez was on the Hill with her sister to meet with staff members of several senators to discuss issues she is interested in, such as health care and education,” her rep says. “She did visit Obama’s office, but the senator was not there. She did not meet him but did discuss health care with members of his staff.”
She probably had a rider in hand to make sure the walls were her preferred color and that there were plenty of white lilies around to adorn her extreme beauty. You just know Obama got wind that the notorious diva was on her way and ran like hell to an “urgent appointment.”
Lopez, the new mom of twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony, has recently claimed the couple are raising their children without the benefit of a nanny. No word on whether or not she was pushing a stroller on Capitol Hill.
