Battle of the ‘American Idol’ Davids!

Skechers spokesdude David Cook might have won the title of American Idol, but that doesn’t mean he’s left runner-up David Archuleta in the dust.
Both performers, the scruffy rocker and the well-represented baby-faced crooner, have albums dropping within the next two weeks. It’s on now!
“I was really nervous at the beginning because this is something I always wanted to do, and it happened so fast,” Archuleta says about the rush to record for the holidays. “The night of the finale, they’re like, ‘OK, you’re gonna be working with Jive.’ I was like, ‘Whoa.’ “
As Page Six puts it will “age and experience win out over youthful charisma?”
Does the music-buying public like cocky goatee wearers or chipmunky teenagers better?
Why don’t they just put their differences aside and start dating each other already?
