With the presidential election just hours away, Saturday Night Live wasn’t slacking on the political satirizing that has turned the show into must-see TV once again.

Republican nominee John McCain swung by the set this past weekend to poke fun at his own campaign.

Was Ben Affleck‘s take on MSNBC news anchor Keith Olbermann up there with Tina Fey‘s dissection of Sarah Palin? Did Ben equal Will Ferrell’s rendition of George W. Bush?

Affleck-as-Olbermann deems Newsweek senior White House correspondent Richard Wolf the “Worst Person in the World,” calling him “a full-time water carrier for the Nazi wing of the Republican party.”

Funny stuff, or has SNL run out of good ideas revolving around the election?
