Beyoncé is set to sing for President-elect Barack Obama's first dance with his wife Michelle on at his inauguration on Tuesday, January 20, reports the AP.

Just don't ask what tune exactly the Lady Fierce will be vocalizing.

"It is our hope that we can keep the song secret until the moment," said Obama spokeswoman Linda Douglass.

The event, called the Neighborhood Ball, is just one of many such affairs surrounding Obama's inauguration.

Rihanna will be singing, as well, at Recording Industry Association of America's Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball. And on Sunday, the We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration will take place, which is set to be televised on HBO.

Other celebs taking part in the official Neighborhood Ball (which will air on ABC) include Beyoncé's husband Jay-Z, Will.I.Am, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Shakira, Sting, Faith Hill, Mary J. Blige, Stevie Wonder and Maroon 5.

Beyoncé, 27, told a reporter the day after the election in November, "Whatever they want—if they need me to volunteer, they need me to sing, I'm there, and I'm ready."

Words which, apparently, were music to Barack's ears!
