Beyonce to Be a Huge Icon
The recently whitewashed Beyonce tells British Marie Claire that she gained 20 pounds to play famed singer Etta James in the upcoming flick Cadillac Records, and that getting thicker than usual was “so much fun.”
But alas, “Sasha” (the person Beyonce says she becomes on stage) had to lose it again for another film.
“I was so angry with myself,” she exclaims. “I was like, ‘D’oh! Why do you have to go through this?’”
Weight fluctuations aside, Beyonce (who is singing the new James Bond theme) has a life goal that doesn’t depend on how big her thighs get.
She has her mind set on immortality.
“I don’t wanna be a hot girl. I wanna be iconic,” she says. “There comes a point when being a pop star is not enough.”
