Beyonce vs. the Jacksons: It’s On!
It’s time for Celebrity Family Feud!
Singer and Cadillac Records actress Beyonce Knowles took her interview in the latest issue of Elle as an opportunity to talk some trash about the Jackson family, sparking a touch of class warfare in the process.
“I grew up upper-class. Private school. My dad had a Jaguar,” the 27-year-old diva tells the magazine. “We’re African-American and we work together as a family, so people assume we’re like the Jacksons. But I didn’t have parents using me to get out of a bad situation.”
Ouch, that smarts! “Neener, neener, neener, my daddy drives a Jaguar!”
Seriously, of all the things she could have called the Jacksons out about, Beyonce is attacking them for using their talents to transcend their meager origins?
Maybe Mrs. Jay-Z was still smarting from the dis that Brandy laid down on her earlier this month, and was trying to improve her mood by hurling a little mud herself. But it’s not particularly classy to kick a family when they’re down.
Oh well; if there’s any fallout from the fierce interview, Beyonce can always blame it on her alter-ego.
If Beyonce’s sister Solange is any indication, Beyonce has no right to talk smack about anyone else’s family.

Beyonce is a very talented singer, dancer, and actress… nut her fame has gone straight to her head!!! Therefore I am not a fan. She better keep her mouth shut cuz she only has a few years in the spotlight.

It is so true that you are a talented young girl – however you’d better be careful and caution to whatever you say because you need to grow – I really mean it – you need to get matured. You will never be compared to Michael Jackson (remember he is the King of POP) in all means and perhaps never also be compared to Janet Jackson…
I love Beyonce’ and everything she does, but I don’t think she meant to say what she said in such a bad way. Obviously, it came out in a hurtful way but I can kind of see where she was headed and how she was comparing her life to their life. She shouldn’t have said that because in the media, words can get twisted and blown out of content.
I still love Beyonce’ but I think she may want to watch what she says because a person, who is a so called “fan” can turn in a quick second and say mean things about you. and to me that means they were never a fan…

I was surprised that she would even comment much on Michael’s passing because some of us did not forget this comment.
