Billy Ray’s Two Cents on ‘Vanity Fair’ Pics
Now that the chatter about the Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair pictures has, well, completely died down, Billy Ray Cyrus reopened the whole can of worms on Today with Meredith Vieira.
Billy Ray was on the show to promote Nashville Star, and it looks like he succeeded.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” crooner used his homespun logic to explain how the family dealt with Miley’s semi-nude shame, “My dad always said, ‘The more you stomp in poop, the more it stinks.’ “
Billy Ray reiterated that he was unaware of any plans to “strip [Miley] down and wrap her in a blanket,” because he had to leave the shoot early as a result of a prior commitment.
All this fuss about these pictures makes no sense.
Miley’s clearly got much bigger problems, like the gang warfare in which she’s currently engaged.

Someone should cover HIM with a blanket…and then pummel him with a baseball bat.
I thought those photos were just fine. I think they are going to milk the issue as much as they can though, probably until the dang Hannah Montana movie comes out. When that happens I will be staying away from the theater for a whole month or two.
