No matter what their costar Chace Crawford might say about it, onscreen Gossip Girl rivals Blake Lively and Leighton Meester deny that there are real-life tensions between them.

Well, at least Blake claims they aren't feuding. For all anyone knows, Leighton has a custom-made doormat with Lively's face on it. But the woman who plays Serena van der Woodsen says everything is A-OK, according to the December issue of W. Magazine.

"I've never really had a competitive relationship in any work situation," Lively tells the mag. "The media is always trying to pit us against each other, I guess because it's just not interesting to say, 'Everyone gets along; everybody just works 18-hour days and goes home to sleep.'"

Totally. It's all just a media fabrication. In fact, it's preposterous that anyone would even think that the two of them want to rip each other's hair from the roots and gouge each other's eyes out.

Besides, everybody knows that Blake Lively is a lover, not a fighter. Perhaps not as much of a lover as she could be, but hey—the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement.
