Us reports that Brad Pitt spoke to Oprah Winfrey for an upcoming episode of the political prophet‘s talk show and refers to companion Angelina Jolie as “the love of his life.”

O asked Pitt, who was in Chicago at the same time as her during Barack Obama‘s victory rally, if he was the happiest he’s ever been. Brad hesitated.

His ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, is friends with Winfrey.

“Dare I say,” Brad replied.

“Dare I see,” says Oprah.

The interview will reportedly air on November 18.
