Brad Pitt’s a Paid Bastard
Brad Pitt will get a break from changing diapers soon.
People magazine reports that Pitt has agreed to play Lt. Aldo Raine in Quentin Tarantino‘s upcoming WW II action flick Inglorious Bastards.
Pitt first saw the film’s script—which Tarantino has been talking up and working on for years—early last month, while awaiting the birth of his and Angelina Jolie‘s twins, Knox and Vivienne. A couple of we
eks ago, the Man They Call Q went the extra 5,700 miles and flew to France in order to convince Pitt to take the part.
The film—which Simon Pegg and Leonardo Dicaprio are also being courted for—is scheduled to begin filming in Germany on October 13. Filming will be on an accelerated schedule to make next year’s Cannes Film Festival. Which would cut into Pitt’s parenting time, but hey—like every guy with a growing family, he could probably use the cash. And those $300,000 tables don’t grow on trees.
