In "it came from the '80s" news, Entertainment Weekly reports that Hangover star Bradley Cooper and Liam Neeson are in talks to star in the big-screen version of revered television series The A-Team.

Cooper is in talks to play Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck, while Neeson would portray Col. John "Hannibal" Smith. In the original series—about a quartet of renegade Vietnam war vets who do good while evading the military—Peck was portrayed by Dirk Benedict, while George Peppard played Smith.

Still no word on who would play Sgt. Bosco "B.A." Baracus and Capt. H.M. "Howling Mad" Murdock—originally portrayed by Mr. T and Dwight Schultz—but rapper Common and Woody Harrelson have been rumored to be up for the parts.

The movie—which will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin' Aces) will begin production in late August for a June 2010 release.
