Brandi Cyrus Steals Miley’s Spotlight

Warning: The Cyrus family is taking over Hollywood.

Of course we all know Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus from the hit Disney Channel show Hannah Montana and their racy Vanity Fair shoot, but now Miley’s siblings are coming out into the limelight as well.

Last week Miley’s brother, Trace Cyrus, was getting a lot of attention for his rumored romance with Disney sweetheart Demi Lovato. But this week, it’s all about Miley’s sister Brandi Cyrus

Brandi’s band, Frank Derol, opened up for Billy Ray at Los Angeles’ House of Blues on Sunday.

The band includes lead singer Codi Caraco and Secret Life of the American Teenager star Megan Park, who plays bass and sings.

Even though Brandi was an addition to the indie-pop band that Park and Caraco had formed less than a year ago, she was not new to performing on stage.

She had been performing as a guitarist for Miley on tour and on Hannah Montana before she got the gig with Caraco and Park.

“We really liked what she contributed,” Park told People, “so we started working with her a lot more and it all naturally fell into place.”

Miley wasn’t there to support her sister since she is filming her new movie, The Last Song, in Georgia.

However, Miley’s former flame, Justin Gaston, was at the concert and was spotted in the VIP balcony enjoying Brandi’s music.

Could there be something going on between Brandi and Justin, or is he just showing his ex’s sister some support? Speculate away in the comments section!
