Brangelina Twins Stalled Their Birth to Up the Payday
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s twins have become the subject of a record bidding war between media publications OK! and People, according to TMZ.
Exclusive photographs of unborn sibs (no, really, they aren’t out of the oven yet) are getting offers upwards of $15 million. Just think of how many babies Angie can buy around the world for that scratch!
A rep from the mag confirms, “We’d love to see the photos in People.” OK! won’t talk numbers, but a flack for the American edition admits they’d be “foolish” not to throw their hat into the ring.
The twins’ big sister Shiloh brought in $4.1 million from People in 2006 for her Sears Portrait Studio snap, and Britain’s Hello! magazine pitched in $3.5 million for the international rights.
The Jolie-Pitts donated all the money to charity, of course, and word is they will do the same with the money from the twins. Those kids will be bent when they’re old enough to realize mom and dad gave away their mansion-and-yacht fund just to help save the world.
The gun-toting Ang and her big hair took to the cover of Vanity Fair and discussed making babies.
“I love [being pregnant]. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing.”
She also reiterated that she feels wedded already, so why spend all that money on flowers? “It’s very easy to get married, but it’s not easy to build a family and be parents together. Maybe we’ve done it backward, but we certainly feel married.”
Actual nuptials would feel a bit anticlimactic at this point. And with soon-to-be six kids, there would be way too many little ones annoying people at the reception.
