‘Breaking Dawn’ Birth Scene Will Be as ‘Intense’ as Book
The scene where Bella Swan gives birth to Renesmee is perhaps the most infamous scene in Breaking Dawn. And as production for the big-screen adaptation draws closer, it’s also been one of the most hotly contested: Will it be gory enough? Too gory? In 3D? Will it even be included at all?
Luckily, with the clock ticking, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg and director Bill Condon appear to be reaching an accord on the matter: Yes, it will be “intense.” But “intense” doesn’t necessarily translate to “graphic.”
Rosenberg tells E! Online that she’s been meeting with Condon in Baton Rouge, Louisiana—where BD will be filming—to work on script rewrites and reveals,
“[W]e’re working on it to be as intense as it is in the book…I don’t think it’s about the amount of blood you show. It’s about the intensity of it. It’s on their faces. It’s all from Bella’s point of view when you’re seeing what’s going. It should feel visceral. I think it’s going to be pretty intense.”
Given that Breaking Dawn begins lensing in November, Rosenberg and Condon better figure things out in a hurry.

Agreed. Both are opinions, if someone says twilight sucks then its their opinion. Twilight fans are easily offended. You can’t stop someone for saying their opinion. If you don’t like it or if your offended, then deal with it. By the way, I hope Breaking Dawn is good, because I wasn’t impressed with New Moon (except for Jacob, he made it hot!!).

Idk why but I have a feeling this lady is gonna ruin the birthing scene. I really hope not. I want everything to be just like the book.
I still don’t understand what the big freaking deal is…the sex scene and the birth scene are part of the plot of a WORK OF FICTION set in a FANTASY WORLD. The sex scene is implied in the book and should be a no brainer. The birth scene’s intensity can be conveyed through script, cinematography and most importantly the faces of the actors. Everyone just needs to CHILL OUT. Ultimately, it’s a movie based on a book, and I say again, FICTION people. Lives are not at stake over this and all this catfighting, “my opinion this”, “your opinion that” is just ridiculous. People are going to say whatever they want…LET IT BE…freedom of speech, whether you agree or not, is still in affect.
In the book it was described as there being blood everywhere, all over the walls, all over Jacob, Edward and Bella; EVERYWHERE. I mean, Edward gives Bella a C-section with his TEETH! For those reasons, the scene in the film should be bloody and gore-y. If it’s not, I will be very disappointed. :|

Weeeeell, let’s put it this way: whatever they do to make it “intense”, it’s not going to be “intense” enough. Again, this coming from a person who has never read the books or seen the movies, but has given birth to two kids :D
I want it to be gory, and like the book. That means Bella has to look pretty creepy herself. REMEMBER- THE BABY IS DRAINING HER LIFE AWAY SLOWING. So she really needs to look like sh*t. BRING IT ON-CANT WAIT!!!

I like the movies. They are entertaining. I do know though, that people who hate the movies are hating it because they want to be apart of that “cool group” that doesnt like it. SO they make it a point to hate the movies. Hence, the twilight bashing. It is cool to not like it. So the nerds love the movies. I am glad to be apart of the nerd group.

i think this will be a GREAT movie better then the first three in my opinion new moon dissapointed me too the book was so much better jacob’s why the movie was better lol

I think that they should be graphic that is one of the most important scenes in the book I really don’t think that this movie should be pg13 either there is a lot of sex and gore in BD I hope that they go into detail on how edward puts his venom into her heart and bites and licks her all over to change her make the scene exactly like the book I hope that the last two movies are exactly like the book Twilight and New Moon were disappointments they left out so many good scenes so I hope that all the actors read the book and the director makes it just like the book it would please many fans
