Breaking Dawn Sex Scenes Will Be "Way Hot," Screenwriter Promises
The movie adaptation of Twilight sequel Breaking Dawn may or may not contain the book's infamous birth scene, but screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg promises that the final Twilight installment will have one thing: Lots of sexy sex for its sexy stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart to get sexy to.
Describing a Breaking Dawn sex scene between Pattinson's Edward Cullen and Stewart's Bella Swan as "way hot," Rosenberg vows,
“Breaking Dawn will be sexier [than its predecessors.] I think we can get awfully sexy with a PG-13, I’m not worried about the rating. I know a lot of fans are like, ‘We have to go R to do it justice,’ but I don’t think so. I think it’s going to be pretty hot. Way hot!”
Better wear your sunscreen to the theaters, Twi-hards.

Stop it guys! come on, Stephenie Meyer didn't put actual sex scenes in the book! And rightfully so too. It's inappropriate. Would you like to go over to your neighbor's house and watch them doing it through their window? Then why watch it in a movie or read it in a book. The movie can be just as good and even better if they followed it like the book, which is leading up to them kissing or whatever and then skipping to the next scene by completely skipping any sex. Yes, it's implied, obviously they do it. But think of this, if they put in the sex in the movie (which wasn't in the book) then other good stuff from the book will not be in the movie due to the time allotment. So get over your hormones and be clean for once.

I defenitly think it should be R just because we have to stay true to how amazingly sexy the fourth book is and it would be wrong to hold back sexy parts just to make it pg-13. come on, everyone wants to see bella and edward get it on! ahah Sometimes it's best to leave the mind to just read and imagine, than to uncomforably see the acting of of it.
I think the workers behind the scenes should be aware of how young our audiences are and that they should not allow intamacy at all or make the movie R. We don't need to see acting of sex. It's enough to read about it. I really wish that young teens and kids weren't reading or watching these movies. Some might think it's worth doing whatever sacrifices, to be with someone you don't know much about or claim to love. Young kids don't know true love, to earn and make a living. The book shows the Cullen family is wealthy and Neither Bella or Edward work. It's not that easy. People look up to Kristen Stewart and I think it would be awful if she just did the wrong thing.
Well they already confirmed it that it will be PG-13 probably because the younger viewers want to go see it but their parents can just drop them off so then their parents wont know its about sex. There are a lot of fans who are underage me and my friends at school theres like a whole group of us so it needs to be PG13

Has to be rated R, if there is someone watching a movie, racy scenes have to be descriptive to the T otherwise the hype of certain parts of the book will not be fulfilled, not the way everyone was forced to imagine it and there will be alot of disapointment. Plus, who wouldnt want to see robert pattinson naked! lol

I'd say whatever I'm gonna see it no matter what kinda rating, but some of the younger viewers might not be able to see it which would mean not as much money. Rate it R if its PG-!3 it wont be as steamy and sexy......the birth scene..well im not sure.

The Twilight Saga is such a great teenage romance movie. You have the elements of falling in love at first sight, love loss and then reconciliation and they didn't have to have sex to do all that. I think that a PG-13 Rating would be sufficient enough as long as the scene shows the true passion that exists between Bella and Edward on their wedding night. We've all been waiting for this moment and has to be do with good taste. Can't wait for the release!!

You have it rated pg-13 then you can not have hot sexy sex sceens and if you do then you will have tone them down for young kids to see it. Either way it's gonna be great. My kids love the series so if it's pg-13 i can justify taking them. More importantly I hope to high heaven they include the birthing scene!! how could you not, that is an extremely vital part of the story. the movies have been so close to the books already. I don't understand what everyone is talking about! Stefanie Meyer barely described anything about the honeymoon in the book! She brought us to the point where Bella walks to the water to meet Edward and then "faded to black" as she ended the chapter. The only description was the pillow biting and bruises in the aftermath - there were no descriptions that would even warrant a PG13, never mind an R rating. It will be nice if the movie fills us in on what we missed, in a tasteful manner.

Remember Me was GREAT. Just don't make Breaking Dawn Sex Scenes so dark and orange casting. You can't see their faces that way. Keep it brighter and cover them up where they need to be. That is what Double Sided Tape is for. Holding sheets in place, LOL! It can be decent and still Rated-R.
They said the "LEG HITCH" was hot hot hot and it was so fast you couldn't even appreciate it. It was nothing like in the book. They took out the best parts of that section. So, I have to say they better go R so that we get the full version like in the books. They can still do a very tasteful R-Rated Movie, it doesn't have to BAD or PORN! Just better than Eclipse was. Maybe then they can spend more time on it. Not CUT anything out, Instead of 2 seconds of fuzzy viewing and it being so fast that you miss half of it. ;)

I think the sex scene could be done within the PG-13 rating. However, if you add that on to the birthing scene (which better be in there!!!!!!), it's probably going to have to be R. I can't imagine they'd go for an R rating though because there are too many young children that make the franchise lots of money.

Twilight does not have to worry about losing its younger fans to an R rating. I was a manager at a big movie chain for nearly 17 years. So, I know what the young people want to see. If it's R the parents will bring them anyway. And if they don't the kids always find someone to take them in. Even if it is a stranger they just met at the theater. The books are not geared towards kids under the age of 15. Therefore toning down the specific details of the story just to meet a PG-13 rating in my opinion would be unjust. Be true to the story and the fans. And definitely don't cut out the birth scene. (That scene is way too important in Bella's transformation)

They should make it R-rated... the teens/young girls that are into Twilight don't need to see these characters that they idolize having sex anyways. It would be better if they grew up a little, we don't want teen pregnancy rates to skyrocket.

If the book isnt portrayed as it was written, then it will be a great injustice. Breaking dawn is what it is because of the way it was written. She wrote the books geared towards the audience that flocks to see the movies. Give it back to the audience in the cinema the same way she gave it to the readers!!!!

PG-13 please. They can do this very tastefully. And I thought they did just fine on New Moon and Eclipse. It's Twilight that I thought they butchered. Please make it the way she intended it, clean and leave it to the imagination. Yea they did do new moon and Eclipse good in pg-13 but in those movies they didnt have babys being born or anything lioke that so they deffinetly need to make it R
R definetly i think you should do make the movie exacty like the book and honestly i dont you could make it pg-13 if you have rob and kristen having sex. i mean everyone likes those kind of movies but if you are going to make the movie like that then you should defionetly get all you can out of it because you only get one chance to put it on the screen. so go at it make it R and have fun.

i think they should stick to the book or relatively close to it. the whole bella having a kid scenario. i don't really care if its pg-13 or rated r. if you want to see a raunchy sex scene, go watch p02n. what matters to me, is the principles of following the book.

I agree; I think Breaking Dawn would easily break rated R status due to the content of the book and I would LOVE to see the birthing scene. Why not?!?! It's a vital part in the book, it's when Bella finally turns into a vampire; which is what the entire series has lead up to.
PG-13 please. They can do this very tastefully. And I thought they did just fine on New Moon and Eclipse. It's Twilight that I thought they butchered. Please make it the way she intended it, clean and leave it to the imagination.
Leave it PG-13 so i can see it but i agree totally do not take out the birth scene best part of the book and the sex scenes can be done appropriately and enthusiastically...i cant wait for it to come out...so excited just leave the rating alone:)

If they make it Rated R alot of younger viewers like myself probably wont be able to see it, and theyre are alot more younger fans than older ones.So I think that it should be left PG-13, and besides the book doesnt get real descriptive. It never tells whats really going on.

Losing the birth scene loses the whole point of the book!!! I mean it can be done tastefully and yet still bring the fans what they really want to see. I think they can definitely stick with there PG-13 rating. They do it ALL the time in movies. I mean here's some examples; Remember me, The notebook, Titanic, 500 days of summer, Fighting, Ect. You don't have to make something rated R b/c there's a sex scene. Sex can be implied without showing a lot. As for the Birthing scene, i don't know but they'll find a way of showing that without losing there PG-13 rating. As we all know, pre-teens and teens are there biggest money givers, if they lose the PG-13 rating they lose money, they won't do it.

I say make it R! I don't think you'll loose that many tickets to the underage. Do the book justice for once!
I know it can be done with good taste where both young and adult audiences can enjoy finally Edward and Bella's love being shared finally. But if they have to go R please do not hesitate go for it. Anyway if they were to make it R, young audience goers would have to be with an older adult to view the film so really R is not a bad choice at all.
The book doesn't describe the sex much so why are you guys all like i wanna see it just like the book...PG-13 should be fine for the sex scenes considering she didn't go into much detail there...besides i can't believe what they can put into a pg13 movie now a days anyways so have no fear...its the birth scene they'd need to go R for which would be cool but won't happen so oh well it will be good just the same.
