Britney Spears Recieves a 'Bambi' From Karl Lagerfeld

Britney Spears, 27, is wowing Europe with her Circus and enjoying the comeback of the year.

The popstress accepted the Bambi Pop International award from fashion guru Karl Lagerfeld, 70, at Germany's Bambi Awards in Offenberg on Thursday.

Lagerfeld, the former head designer for Chanel and Fendi, is known for his fashion eccentricities so he probably asked her where she got the outfit.

Spears performed her single "Womanizer" on the show, in a costume that seemed to pay tribute to her fairy godmother Madonna's current onstage attire and a performance that included plenty of circus-like spectacle.

Spears emerged through a fiery hoop, and cavorted with clownish dancers while singing to a "Womanizing" circus performer who ended up trapped inside a giant sphere. Very American Gladiators!

What a difference from her lackluster performance at 2007's VMAs.

Spears performed the same number on France's version of American Idol, Star Academy, last night, and the audience went wild for her. Check the video.

Brit is scheduled to perform on an upcoming episode of Britain's X-Factor, as well.

She makes a comeback look good.
