Britney Spears has been a hard-working pop star as of late, gearing up for a new album, taping promos for the VMAs (she's nominated for Video of the Year) and even guest-starring on Madonna's tour.

So her weekend in Las Vegas, spent poolside at Bare, was well-deserved.

She probably needed to cool down after learning about the unauthorized biography about herself that's coming out.

According to People, Britney arrived via private jet on Saturday, and checked into her villa at the Mirage which comes equipped with a private patio and pool.

But Brit, not one to shun the general public, elected to sun herself at Bare, the Mirage's poolside lounge that allows the ladies to go topless. And the new and improved Britney was in full effect on Sunday.

"Her body looked great," a witness said. "It looks like she's getting her body back, back to the old Britney."

Spears also enjoyed Cirque De Soliel that night.

In an interesting twist, Britney's ex Adnan Ghalib was spotted at the Mirage on the same day.
