Perhaps wanting to soften her image after giving Kevin Federline sole custody of their kids, Britney Spears showed up to Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's house for a Generation Rescue fundraiser.

The organization helps with autism research.

"She looked great and seemed really happy," an insider who attended the party told People. "She smiled and clapped during the video about autism. She was very into the information and watched a little bit of the dancers from Dancing with the Stars."

Hmmm. This sounds like a new and adult Britney like the world has never known.

Either that, or she was in the neighborhood while driving home from work and heard there were Cool Ranch Doritos on the menu.

Fighting autism is yummy, y'all!
