It was a Circus of disappointment at Hollywood’s Arclight cinema’s Thursday afternoon.

Several hundred Britney Spears devotees descended upon the theater complex with high hopes of attending a screening of the MTV documentary, Britney: For the Record.

With tickets clutched in their happy paws, these Britney lovers passed the hours sharing their excitement. Britney herself might be in the room while they viewed the documentary!

Then the event’s organizers, 1iota ticket agents, arrived. Fan dreams turned to outrage.  Let them tell their own story:

The moral of this tale? All things Britney—good. Corporate exploiters—not so much.
