Director Quentin Tarantino has done a great job at jumpstarting the careers of some of Hollywood’s onetime forgotten celebrities.

So part-time mom Britney Spears is looking sexy again, says The Telegraph, because Tarantino has handpicked her to be the lead in his remake of Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

“Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant,” says a source. “She’s delighted. She’s playing the most important character.”

That character is Varla, a murderous stripper who kills a young man then takes his girlfriend hostage. Britney’s family is probably elated with this new opportunity.

The Telegraph promises “the troubled singer will also have sex scenes with another girl before the drama ends in a blood-bath.”

Nutjob lesbians on the warpath? Are you sure there’s not a more suitable choice for this role, Quentin?
