Britney Spears to Get Some ‘Sex and the City’
Still, no official word has arrived of a sequel to the wildly successful and empowering Sex and the City movie.
One star, Kim Cattrall, says the followup flick is in the bag. A bigger star/producer, Sarah Jessica Parker, 43, hints that Kim should zip her 52-year-old trap about any future big-screen SATC installments.
But the financial realities make Sex and the City Again a foregone conclusion, and even Sarah Jessica seems to have accepted the fact. Enough so, that MTV.Uk is reporting Parker’s casting wish list. And who is her dream costar?
Britney Spears.
“My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece,” Parker told friends, “and Carrie would show her the ropes.”
Interesting concept, but limited. Isn’t it just as possible that Britney could show Carrie a thing or two about how to make it in the big wild world?
Representatives for 27-year-old Britney have been asked for comment.
