Britney Spears wasn't herself this Halloween. But she wasn't who other people said she was either.

Like many of Hollywood's finest, Brit-Brit dressed up for this year's spooky holiday, breaking character to don a witch's robe and hat.

To hear certain celebrity-gossip outlets—we're looking in your direction, TMZ and X17—tell it, pop music's reigning comeback queen spent Friday night in a white wig.

With Brit-Brit so much in the news lately, you'd think they'd be able to recognize her. But no; the wiggy chick in question was actually Britney's friend Courtney.
