Britney Spears Lights Up NYC on her Birthday

A gorgeous Britney Spears, newly 27 as of yesterday, taped a segment for NBC's Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting, which will air tonight.

After the taping, Britney was whisked to New York City hot spot Tenjune for a birthday celebration attended by guests including Heidi Klum, Ciara, Jeremy Piven, and Lance Bass among others. (Alli Simms doesn't seem to have received an invite.)

Britney stole the Circus-themed (of course) show by showing up in a low-cut Roberto Cavalli cocktail dress.

She was all smiles as she told Entertainment Tonight that her birthday wish was for "a million more wishes!"

The party reportedly featured jugglers, a man on stilts and carnival concessions like hot dogs and popcorn, according to Us.

Britney has been taking NYC by storm this week. Yesterday, she took over Good Morning America to celebrate the release of her new album and perform some tracks off the disc to screaming fans.

Spears says she doesn't like the word "comeback" so let's just say "the next phase" is taking off!
