With a slick new do and her trademark enthusiasm, Britney Spears has plans to take part in Madonna's Sticky & Sweet tour. A source from Britney's camp dished the details to People, emphasizing the "Gimme More" singer's newfound maturity.

"Britney is excited, but in a grown up way," the pal said.

Spears arrived to film her video segment at 9 a.m. in West Hollywood at The Lot, sporting her new platinum blonde locks.

"She has settled down and is full of life but not childish," says the tipster.

More importantly, Spears has put down some very sturdy roots—as in the ones in her hair. Even if this collabo with Madonna falls completely flat, at least she's finally fixed that weave.

    If she can make a come back I will be amazed. Madonna of all people helping here, I just can't imagine the material girl helping her out maybe she is gonna make fun of her in the video or maybe since Guy is out of the picture she just wants a round 2 of some good PDA.
