Britney Spears: Moving Back to Louisiana?
It looks like Britney Spears really is planning to ditch Los Angeles, at least if her father and conservator, Jamie Spears, is to be believed.
Jamie took the stand during Britney’s trial for driving without a valid license and told the court that she didn’t have a California license because “Her home is Louisiana”—and she’ll be returning there, just as soon as she can get her child-visitation rights changed so she can travel with her sons, Jayden James and Sean Preston.
When asked when Britney would be relocating, Jamie replied, “There’s plans right now,” explaining that “We’re [in California] with her kids. We have visitation rights. We have to stay to augment those rights.”
Spears told jurors that the family will be heading back to Louisiana “once we can travel with the kids and spend time there.”
Say it ain’t so, Brit! L.A. won’t be half as interesting without you!
First they say she’s too crazy to stand trial. Now it’s all, “Yeah, well, she’s moving back to Louisiana, so pfft!” WTF?
