Britney Spears to Perform at the Grammys?
It is rumored that Britney Spears will perform at the 2011 Grammys on February 13 in Los Angeles, according sources who told PerezHilton it’s a done deal. However, reps for the pop princess beg to differ, saying,”We have not confirmed a performance at the Grammys at this time.”
But with the release of her newest single “Hold It Against Me” this week, her first in over a year, and a new album on the horizon for March 15, the timing of a big performance would certainly make sense.
The source also revealed: “She’s been rehearsing for weeks, and it’s gonna be a truly great performance!”
Britney hasn’t performed at a live televised award show since the 2007 VMAs. Watch it here:

Perez Hilton spreads anything he’s paid to spread. My gay homies can tell you some stories. These rumors have surfaced before with regards to the last two or three Grammy awards shows and both weren’t true. I wonder when will this “source” and her manager stop the age old scheme of spreading lies to generate a buzz-feel that’s not really a BUZZ at all? So this “source” says it’s a “done deal”. So when was the last time celeb buz contacted the Grammy offices to confirm or deny. Know that there’s no contract between Britney and the producers of the show. Please tell Perez before he makes a greater fool of himself than he already is.
