Britney Spears Puts the 'Kin' in 'Pumpkin'

Continuing her cavalcade of normalcy, Britney Spears brought her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, to Hollywood's Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch to pick out a Halloween pumpkin Thursday.

When they weren't shopping for the perfect jack-o'-lantern, the tots hopped around on the "jumpin' pumpkin" trampoline. Mom looked on and laughed.  Apparently, embracing the ups and downs of life is a hereditary trait in this clan.

But even in this wholesome activity, the recently cleared pop singer raised eyebrows.

Though the photos here don't indicate it, the Daily Mail reports that Brit-Brit made the shopping excursion while wearing a ring given to her by Adnan Ghalib, the paparazzo Brit had a brief relationship with during her tumultuous past. The ring is purported to be part of a his-and-hers set that Ghalib had custom-made during their fling.

Does Britney still harbor affection for Adnan, who recently hinted that he'd be willing to sell a sex tape of the two of them if the price is right?

Put out an emergency call to Papa Jamie! He might have to load up the truck and hightail it back to Louisiana sooner than he expected!

UPDATE: Contrary to the Daily Mail's seamy and cynical speculation, Britney did not appear to be wearing a ring at the Mr. Bones pumpkin patch. She was, however, sporting a necklace made by Key to My Heart. The company is currently donating a portion of its proceeds to Have a Heart Children's Cancer Charity. So shame on you, Daily Mail! And good on you, Britney!
