Britney Spears Set to ‘Mother’ You Again

It's Britney, bitch, and she's back to reprise her role as Abby on CBS' How I Met Your Mother, maybe because her first guest stint brought the show its highest ratings ever.

The role deepens the relationship of her office assistant character and Neil Patrick Harris' Barney in an attempt to make Josh Radnor's Ted jealous. An interesting turn of events, given that Harris initially caught flack for saying his show didn't need stunt casting.

He's since removed foot from mouth clarified his remarks, and now exec producer and cocreator Craig Thomas says Spears' return is a "mutual decision to work together more."

Aw, don't you love when everyone in Hollywood plays nicely together?

Watch for Brit-Brit to get Mother'd on May 12.
