Dramatic comeback queen Britney Spears had been scheduled to ring in the New Year in charge of her own affairs, but a Los Angeles court has seen things differently.
Reuters is reporting that Reva Goetz, the judge in Britney's conservatorship, has extended Jamie Spears's control over his daughter's affairs indefinitely beyond the current December 31 deadline.
Jamie Spears was initially granted temporary control of Britney's affairs in February after his oldest daughter was twice hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation.
In the time since then, Britney has shown a remarkable professional and personal turnaround.
The proof is in the pictures. Take your skeptical eyes to BritneySpears.com and gaze on eight exclusive shots of Britney in the dance studio.
Britney's new album, Circus, is scheduled to debut during the holiday season. With Daddy's guiding influence, that positive momentum should carry through all the way to 2010!
