Bronx Mowgli's Room Is Pooh-tastic

on Apr. 15, 2009 04:15 PM / 3 Comments

Slowly but surely, Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are introducing the world to their son Bronx Mowgli.

Though they've generally kept him out of the spotlight, Ashlee twittered a pic of the adorable infant last week.

And now Wentz  has published a photo of Bronx's room on Friends or Enemies.

The most impressive thing about Bronx's new digs is a mural featuring cherished Winnie the Pooh characters Tigger and Roo.

"Everyone knows we're huge Disney fans and we wanted to give the peeps over at Disney Consumer Products a shout out for coming in and helping design his nursery," Wentz writes. "These are pictures of the walls before we got all his gear in there. The chalk board is real. We also had the artist that draws pooh do the art."

Pretty sweet. Hopefully Bronx Mowgli will turn out to be a Disney fan too.

But then, given that he was named after a character in The Jungle Book, chances are pretty good that he will be.

Have your say in the comments section: What do you think of Bronx Mowgli's room?

sorry to break it to everyone but the Jungle Book wasn't written or created by Disney (though the cartoon is pretty fantastic and i am also a huge fan of most disney stuff!!). But have to say that a writer named Rudyard Kipling wrote the book in the 1800's. Mowgli is not a creation by Disney!

You probably tell little kids the Easter Bunny and Santa Clause aren't real. Meanie.

Yes, I'm sure these two brainiacs had Kipling in mind when they named their kid Mowgli. They'll probably name the next one Gunga DIn.

Nice to see the kid's room is already covered in Pooh, though.
