Bruno Gains Another Enemy

Uh-oh, looks like Sacha Baron Cohen has incurred the wrath of a very powerful foe.

OK! Magazine reports that Los Angeles Superintendent Ramon Cortines is steamed at Cohen about pictures he posed for—in the guise of his gay Austrian fashionista character Bruno—in the most recent issue of GQ magazine.

Seems that Cortines is none too thrilled that Cohen posed with members of the Birmingam High School—located in the San Fernando Valley—football team for the photo-spread. It might have something to do with the fact that Cohen was only wearing shoulder pads, tights shorts and an athletic cup—on the outside of his shorts—at the time.

Now Cortines is claiming that the school district has “allowed our students to be used.”

No word on whether Cortines plans to bring Cohen to court over this most grievous offense. So far in he run-up to his latest film Cohen has been sued by a bingo-game organizer for allegedly causing her bodily harm while filming a scene for his upcoming laff-riot, Bruno: Delicious Journeys Through America for the Purpose of Making Heterosexual Males Visibly Uncomfortable in the Presence of a Gay Foreigner in a Mesh T-Shirt.

Have your say in the comments section: Do you think the Los Angeles Superintendent is overreacting?
