Cam Gigandet Scores A New ‘Roomate’ With Leighton Meester

Though he may not be appearing in the Twilight sequel New Moon, it doesn’t mean Cam Gigandet won’t have anything to do this summer.
Variety is reporting that the Twilight villain has been cast opposite Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester in Screen Gems’ psychological thriller The Roomate. The story, which could begin filming as soon as May, follows a mentally unstable college freshman who becomes obsessed with her roommate. Gigandet will play Meester’s boyfriend.
Sounds like Leighton will be doing much more of that making out business she enjoys so much on the set of Gossip Girl. And we’re pretty sure she won’t mind her newest make-out partner.
