Sometimes being a good hostess is the hardest thing! Ask Drew Barrymore, who was fresh out of excuses for Charlie's Angels BFF Cameron Diaz.

According to the New York Post's Page Six, Barrymore threw a Halloween soiree with an Alfred Hitchcock theme, and Diaz was less-than-charitable with the other guests.

Paul Sculfor's gal was "outside smoking the whole time," according to one onlooker, ignoring the festivities happening inside.

Not only did she confine herself to the fringe of the bash, she refused to indulge other Hitchcock characters in smoke!

"When a couple people asked if she had a cigarette, she always said no. It was so rude," the peeved party person said.

Among those denied cigs: Britney Spears, Liv Tyler and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.
