Can a '90210' Babydaddy Shocker Boost Ratings?

After initially premiering to record digits for the CW network, 90210 saw a big dip in viewers with episode two this past week.

Hence the stops being pulled out for garnering publicity for the show.

And if folks aren't exactly buying the strategically-timed on-set catfight between 90210 vet Shannen Doherty and newbie Shenae Grimes, producers are hoping the reveal of the father of Kelly's (Jennie Garth) son will fire up the curiosity factor for Tuesday's episode.

People notes, "Brenda and Kelly will be having a serious conversation about Sammy’s dad when Brenda reveals his name. So far, Kelly has mentioned she knew him in high school and they have history together. The couple went their separate ways, but hooked up four years ago. Since then, he’s been out of the picture."

Hmmm. It's probably safe to assume it's not David (Brian Austin Green), since he was Kelly's brother on the original series.

Producer Gabe Sachs says the babydaddy may appear on a future episode.

So who could it be?
