When it comes to election season, Carrie Underwood is the celebrity version of Switzerland, preferring to stay neutral. And she wishes other celebrities would follow suit, Just Jared reports.
"There is someone I do support, but I don't support publicly," Underwood recently told TV Guide. "I lose all respect for celebrities when they back a candidate."
Underwood continues, ""It's saying that the American public isn't smart enough to make their own decisions. I would never want anybody to vote for anything or anybody just because I told them to."
Good call, Carrie; after all, you'v
e displayed some questionable judgment in the past.
Besides, you might not want to waste time and energy on political advocacy. You have much more pressing contests facing you.

Vote from the rooftops!
oh please, that just means she was planning on voting for mc cain and didnt want to admit it...
I admire Carrie for not publically supporting any one candidate. I wish the air heads on the left would take her advice. They might still have careers if they did!
To the person who thinks Carrie was supporting McCain, SO WHAT???? This is America we are not all Democraps!!
