Looks like someone is paying some respect to the show that made her a star!

Four-time Grammy winner Carrie Underwood will return to the American Idol stage next Tuesday for the final showdown between finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen. 

Her rep tells MTV News that the blonde bombshell will sing this seasons's farewell song, a cover of Motley Crue's metal ballad "Home Sweet Home."

This will be Underwood's second performance on this season's show. She sang a duet with her country idol, Randy Travis, back in March. 

Hopefully she shows a little bit more taste than the last show's guest performer did.
