30 Rock

30 Rock first aired October 11, 2006 on NBC. This American television comedy series was created by Tina Fey and is currently going into its fifth season. The series features Liz Lemon (Fey), head writer of a sketch-comedy show called TGS with Tracy Jordan. Fey stars alongside regular cast members Tracy Morgan, Jack McBrayer, Scott Adsit, Judah Friedlander, Alec Baldwin, Jane Krakowski, Keith Powell, Katrina Bowden, Kevin Brown, John Lutz and Grizz Chapman. 30 Rock received its name from 30 Rockefeller Plaza, the main address of NBC Studios. The show won the Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series three years in a row, from 2007 to 2009. It also set a record for the most Emmy nominations for a comedy series in one year (22).
