The son of famous Swedish actor Stellan Skarsgard, Alexander is best known for playing the sexy vampire Eric Northman in the hit HBO series True Blood. Before True Blood, he had a major role in the miniseries Generation Kill. He has also appeared in films such as Zoolander, Metropia, Straw Dogs and Beyond the Pole.
