Milo Ventimiglia


Making a steady rise up the ladder of stardom to a solid career, Milo Ventimiglia is a true hero to other aspiring actors. Milo, born on July 8, 1977, in Anaheim, California, is a graduate of UCLA, majoring in theater arts. He landed his first break on TV in 1995 on an episode of The Fresh Price of Bel Air. He went on to appear on C.S.I., Sabrina: The Teenage Witch and Law and Order: SVU. His first recurring lead role was on the short-lived FOX sitcom Opposite Sex in 2000. His next major TV projects were on the drama Gilmore Girls, where he played 'Jess Mariano' from 2001 to 2004 and a recurring role during the third (and final) season of American Dreams, where he played Brittany Snow's draft-dodging beau. His TV work led to roles in the horror flicks Cursed with Christina Ricci and Stay Alive with Frankie Muniz. In 2006, he had a supporting role in his biggest film to date, playing Sylvester Stallone's son in Rocky Balboa. That same year, he was cast in the NBC science-fiction series Heroes as Peter Petrelli, a former hospice nurse who discovers that he has the power to mimic the power of other ordinary people with extraordinary powers. The show has become an audience favorite and Milo has found fame, success and love with co-star Hayden Panettiere. With the continued success of the show and a number of films in the works, Milo's career trajectory is looking super.
