Aaron Spelling was born April 22, 1923, in Dallas, Texas. He was a film and television producer who worked on over 200 productions. He is best known for producing the TV series Charlie’s Angels, Dynasty, Starsky and Hutch, Fantasy Island, Family, Hotel, 7th Heaven, Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210. In 1953, he married actress Carolyn Jones, but they divorced in 1964. In 1968, he married second wife Candy Gene Spelling; they had two children, Randy and Tori. In 2001, Spelling was diagnosed with oral cancer; five years later, on June 18, 2006, he died from a stroke at the age of 83.
