Al Roker was born August 20, 1954, in Queens, New York. He is a television broadcaster best known as the weather anchor on NBC's Today show. He also co-hosts his own morning show on The Weather Channel, Wake up with Al, which first aired July 20, 2009. Al began his career as a weather anchor in 1974 and started working for NBC in 1978. He is also a bestselling author who has released several books. He has been married three times; his third wife, Deborah Roberts, is a journalist for ABC and NBC. Al has three children.
