Alan Arkin was born March 26, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York. He is an Academy Award-winning actor and director who is best known for his roles in films like The In-Laws, Edward Scissorhands and Catch-22. He also starred in the movie Little Miss Sunshine, for which he won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2007. Alan has been nominated for and has won numerous other awards. He has been married three times; his third wife is Suzanne Newlander. Alan has two children with his first wife, Jeremy Yaffe; one of them, Adam, is a famous actor as well.
