Alec Baldwin was born April 3, 1958, in Long Island, New York. He is a prolific film, stage and television actor who currently stars on NBC's hit show 30 Rock. The oldest of the four Baldwin brothers (his brothers are Stephen Baldwin, William Baldwin and Daniel Baldwin), Alec began his career in television with roles in shows such as The Doctors and Knots Landing. He then moved into film, starring in hits such as Beetlejuice, Married to the Mob, Talk Radio and The Hunt for Red October. Alec married The Marrying Man co-star Kim Basinger on August 19, 1993. The two have one child, but got a bitter divorce in September 2002. Alec has won many awards in the course of his career, including two Emmy Awards, four SAG Awards and three Golden Globes. He was also nominated for an Oscar for his performance in The Cooler. He has made several critically acclaimed appearances on Saturday Night Live.
